Coupon Finder AI for AliExpress™ ("the extension") is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by AliExpress or Alibaba Group.

What the extension does

When you click Find codes on an AliExpress checkout page, the extension reads the order total and the promo-code box on that page, searches for public promo codes (live, one source at a time), enters each code into the promo box, and keeps the one that lowers your total the most.

Data we collect

The extension contains no analytics, tracking or advertising SDKs. We never receive your name, address, order contents or browsing history.

Our only server is a search proxy (Cloudflare Workers). It stores:

• A random install ID and the time it was created, inside a signed token. This is used for the 7-day trial and the free daily limit.
• A daily search counter for that ID. It is deleted automatically after about one day.
• Your IP address, used only to rate-limit sign-ups (a counter that expires daily) and processed by Cloudflare as our hosting provider. It is not stored with your install ID.
• The search parameters you send: region, a rounded cart total and the currency. The resulting public codes are cached for up to 1 hour, with no personal data attached.

Data processed locally

• Checkout page content (order total, currency, promo-code field) is read only in the active tab, only after you click the button, and is never transmitted, except the order total and currency as described under Network requests.
• Settings (region, optional custom codes URL, optional xAI API key, affiliate setting, and the purchase email if you entered one) and a cache of the public code list are stored in chrome.storage.local on your device. They are not synced and can be removed by uninstalling the extension.

Network requests

• Live AI search via our proxy (when you click Find codes and have no own key): the region, cart total and currency are sent to our Worker. It queries xAI's Grok with our key and returns public promo codes. Free users get 1 search per day (first 4 sources); trial and Pro users get up to 10 full searches per day.
• Public code list: a static codes/<region>.json file is downloaded from GitHub Pages (only once a public list is published; currently not enabled). The request contains no personal data or cookies; GitHub may log standard request data (IP address, user agent) under its own privacy policy.
• Optional: your own xAI key. Only if you enable it in Options and grant permission, the extension sends a search request to api.x.ai containing your region and cart total (no address, name or products), authenticated with your key. xAI's privacy policy applies.
• Affiliate link: on by default and can be turned off in Options. Only after a code worked, the popup shows a clearly labelled affiliate link. Nothing happens unless you click it. Nothing is ever injected into AliExpress pages.

Payments, trial and Pro

• New installs get a 7-day trial of Pro. Afterwards the extension continues on the free plan. Nothing is locked, and you are never charged automatically for the trial.
• Pro (€4.99/month, €34.99/year or €54.99 for 2 years, or the same amounts in USD outside the EU) is sold through Stripe Payment Links, opened in a normal browser tab. Your payment details go only to Stripe, under its privacy policy (stripe.com/privacy); we never see your card.
• The payment link carries a random install ID of this extension (client_reference_id) so our proxy can recognise your payment and unlock Pro automatically. It is not linked to any other data.
• If automatic unlock does not work (for example on another browser), you can enter the email you paid with in Options. It is used only to verify your purchase with Stripe, never for marketing, and is stored with your Pro status (Stripe subscription ID and paid-until date) on our proxy so it can be re-checked. Our proxy uses a read-only Stripe key and caches the result for up to 1 hour.
• You can cancel or change your card anytime in the Stripe customer portal (Options → Manage subscription; Stripe emails a login link to your purchase email), via the link in your Stripe receipt, or by contacting us.

Retention

Daily counters expire after about 24 hours. Cached search results expire within 1 hour. Paid-status results are re-checked with Stripe at least hourly; a Pro record (install ID, Stripe subscription ID, paid-until date and, if you entered it, your email) is kept while your subscription is active and deleted once it has ended. Install tokens live only in your browser; uninstalling removes them.

Permissions

• activeTab + scripting: access the current tab only when you click the button, to read the total and type codes.
• storage: save your settings, install token and (if entered) purchase email locally.
• Optional https://api.x.ai/*: only for the own-key fallback.

Sharing and sale

We do not sell user data or share it with third parties except the processors named above (Cloudflare, xAI, Stripe) to provide the service. We do not transfer it, and do not use it for creditworthiness, advertising or any purpose unrelated to the extension's single purpose. Use of data complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Children

The extension is not directed at children under 13.
